About Our RSS News Feed

Ready To Subscribe?

If you are already tuned into RSS, click on the subscription icon link over on the right. If you're unsure what RSS is all about, read on.

What is RSS?

RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication" and is a simple XML-based system that allows users to subscribe to content from their favorite websites. Using an RSS reader, you can have new content from all over the internet delivered right to your desktop while it's fresh and meaningful.

What is an RSS News Feed Reader?

A news feed reader, also known as a news aggregator, is software that lets you subscribe to RSS feeds and read content from all over the internet right on your desktop. It automatically checks your news feed subscription list and will display any updated content that it finds. There are many different news feed readers available for download, many of them free. Some are available as desktop software that you download and install on your computer. Others are web-based that allow you to access them from any computer over the internet. You can view a list of popular news feed readers at Google.

Why Should I Subscribe to the MHTP RSS News Feed?

Subscribing will allow you to know when new news articles have been published on the Mental Health Transformation Project home page. Although we love it when you come to our site to visit, RSS will automatically tell you when a new article is posted online.

How To Sign Up

If you are already using an RSS reader, all youmay need to do to receive MHTP news articles is to click on the RSS "subscribe" logo at the top of this page. Many modern browsers like Firefox 2.0 integrate with desktop RSS readers. If you are using an older browser, such as Internet Explorer 6, clicking on the link/icon may not work. In such a case you will probably just see the xml code. Depending on the reader you use, you should be able to paste the following URL intothe appropriate place in your reader to add the news feed to your subscription list. Refer to your reader's instructions. http://mhtransformation.wa.gov/mhtg/rss.xml .
